Booger Days

These past few days I consider booger days. Days that I'd love to hate.

A few days ago, I figured that making the most of life would sometime mean disregarding things that you know would piss you off. Like the ... ah never mind. Writing about it would surely mess up the rest of my night. I wouldn't want to talk about the idiots I deal with a lot, not the tupperware people who calls me friend. Naaah, I won't be wasting my blog space for them. Not tonight anyway.

So what were the things I did this week? I'm almost finished with the Black Pipe video presentation that includes their interviews about their upcoming album as well as themselves. I'll post it as soon as I upload the video.

Bob is Back!!!

Bob comes home

Bob, not his real name, -- his real name is Arnel, but he has gotten used with everyone calling him Bob -- Gonzales is back with Black Pipe. That means that Black Pipe's sound would be more wicked with those fat fingers back on the keyboard. He's really an excellent musician.

So I met them whole again Wednesday last week at Barbariba on their regular Wednesday gig and saw Bob who looks fat n' rite just the way I want him. Seeing him after all the years past and hearing him play just reinforced my faith on those fingers. So we decided to jam in my office / studio and I picked an old Joe Jackson song called Fools in Love. The studio jam was way better than the live set we did later that night.

Bob's return also means that I'd have to rework on some tracks again to put Bob's keys on the music, not to mention that we'd have to re-shoot the pictorials. But I know that it's all worth it and seeing the boys together again gives me a feeling of satisfaction.

Goodbye, Benson...

The reason why I've not blogged lately is because I was saddened by the sudden death of my pet snake Benson. After the last feeding frenzy last week, he was found by my security personnel dead inside his aquarium three days later... Goodbye, Benson. You will be missed by everyone.

So all this time, I was just thinking that I'd need to find me a new pet. Last night, I took a bottle of San Mig Light at the MFC Bar before the long drive home and guess what? From the corner of my eye, I saw a most familiar "movement" from under the audio console cabinet and I honestly thought that I was being haunted by Benson's spirit. We took a closer look and it was a less than a meter long reticulated python same as Benson but with a slightly variant skin print and I'd say by its length that it was about 3-4 months old.

So just as I have ordered my security chief to be on the look out for my new pet, nature delivers one to me.

I haven't named it yet because we haven't determined if it was a he or a she. Today, I'll have her cleaned up and I promise not to over feed it.

Benson the Python

my pet snake, benson the python after having shed his skin gets really hungry and gobbles up 4 mice one after the other. This is actually the first time we've ever seen him eat as he is usually shy eating out in public. i even think that he was still hungry but i can't give him anymore since i only asked my security officer to buy 5 mice and we gave out one to benson's brother out back.

under your shade...

there is a cloud-covered moon that I see tonight...
sort of reminds me of my life...

In 1996, I started work on a 4th album called under your shade. I finished the album two years later. The title cut, is a song that never seem to die in my mind... I've done a lot of versions of it and I'm still contemplating on more.

Here's the studio version... with a jazz feel into it.
